Whitney Houston and Dana Bash

Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the cousin of daughter of the singer Dionne. Her first singing gig was in the choir at her church The New Hope Baptist Church in Newark when she was a child at the age of 15 was singing backing vocals professionally along with her mother on Chaka Khans 1978 hit Im Every Woman. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were some of the artists she backed up. The singer was also a model for Seventeen Magazine in 1981. The year 1981 saw her begin singing with the New York-based funk group Material. It was her excellent vocals of this group that attracted interest of recording companies including Arista. Whitney Houston was her debut album. Whitney Houston was released in 1985 and quickly became the top-selling album of an artist who was a rookie. Tracks like the title track, The Most Beautiful Love of All, How Will I Know If You Give Love and the song Saving the Day and All My Love were all released on the album. These songs helped Houston to achieve seven US top tens that surpassed even those of The Beatles. The album itself sold 3 million copies during its first year in the US and then went on to sell 25 million worldwide winning them the first six Grammys. The follow-up album released in 1987 Whitney which included the hits Where Do Broken Hearts Go and I Wanna Dance With Somebody built on her success but it was the 1992 film The Bodyguard (1992) that sealed her place as one of the top-selling performers in history. The movie and her role in it was not well received, but the music and her interpretation of the song by Dolly Parton I Will Always Love You were charting for months on the charts and she sold over 44 million singles and albums all over the world. In the same year she had her daughter Bobbi she married Bobby Brown of the ex-New Edition group. Around this time the drug use was documented, and she began using daily in 1996.

Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more commonly known, is an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent. She has also produced some of the network's weekend shows such for instance Evans & Novak' Late Edition and Inside Politics.' She was also a reporter for other famous channels, such as NBC and CBS. Bash has received many awards as well as a spot at the top of the Women in Washington Power List from Elle magazine. Her amazing anchoring and reporting skills are praised by many journalists. She is also a loving father to her son even though she graduated from George Washington University. She's had two marriages. Her current relationship is not formal.
