Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg, raised in Wellington she made her first appearance as Flora McGrath when she played the role of Flora McGrath in The Piano. She won an Academy Award at the age of 11 to be the Best support Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin born July 24 the 24th of July, 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster for the Best Supporting Actress award for portraying the inquisitive and talkative daughter of Holly Hunter's main character in The Piano. In response to a public audition, when she was nine, she became Flora McGrath - the daughter of a Scottish muffled pianist during the 19th century. She was able to move into New Zealand to marry an arrangement-based husband. In her teens her family relocated into the United States. Paquin was the main character in the film Fly Away Home in 1996 as well as a brief appearance in the film as Jane Eyre at the time she was just a young child. Paquin had a small role in the 1997 TV movie adapting Carson McCullers novel The Member of the Wedding. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad which she was in, she played the queen of Spain in a minor part. She also played teens on the screen in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon(1999) as well as Almost Famous (2000). In addition, she was the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
